Hi Everyone and GREETINGS from Ireland!

I know its been a while since our site has been updated but I've been away in Ireland trying to find Bono. I got very close to the Edge at the premier of Gangs of New York, but I couldn't quite get over the barricade.

First off, THANKS to everyone who came out to the "Farewell" Hoot back in August! There are some songs from the show available for your listening pleasure on the Audio page now. Check them out...they're so lovely!

Second, anyone else in Hoot withdrawls??? You may have heard rumblings and rumours of a "Return to Hoot" Hoot. Well, its true. We'll be Hooting again
on Wednesday February 12 at Schubas Tavern in Chicago. In honor of St. Valentine, this Hoot Night has been dubbed the Love vs. Hate Hoot. That's all I'll say about that. 8pm start and a FULL house is expected so please don't be too late or you mightn't get in.

In other Hoot news, plans are underway for the launch of our sister Hoot Night in Dublin, Ireland. We're still trying to find the perfect venue for the show here and we've narrowed it down to two places. More on this later!

It's my hope that this site will feature a Dublin Hoot page sometime in the near future. So that's something to look forward too!

While I have your attention, I'll mention that Settler has been working very hard and our first pressing of the new album, LIFE UPSTREAM has been
met with terrific reviews from the Dublin Event Guide, www.eclectichoney.com, and The Ireland Sunday Tribune (5 Stars!!).
